Luke Caraway
President
With over a decade of dedicated service to the field of civil engineering, Luke has become a respected leader and expert in his domain. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the prestigious University of Texas El Paso, a testament to his commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
Luke’s journey in civil engineering began at Doucet & Associates, a renowned engineering consultancy firm, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for the craft. Building on the experience gained at Doucet & Associates, Luke continued to excel in the field as he joined Kimely Horn. Here, he played a pivotal role in the successful completion of numerous projects and master communities, further solidifying his reputation as a proficient civil engineer. His dedication to providing practical solutions and ensuring project efficiency earned him the trust of clients and colleagues alike.
As President of the company, he is dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective civil engineering solutions to. Under his guidance, the company has rapidly grown into a trusted name in the industry, known for its integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client satisfaction.
Nicole Haun
VP of Business Operations
Nicole brings over 20 years of experience in operations, project management, and strategic planning to our team.
As our Vice President of Business Operations, Nicole focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating operations activities, implementing efficient systems, and overseeing cost-effective operations. Her exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills ensure that our company’s future needs are met while providing the best possible service to our clients.
Nicole started her career in the United States Air Force, serving for 20 years, working in logistics, planning, and teaching at USAF Basic Military Training and the United States Air Force Academy. She brings extensive experience from the government and private sectors, providing a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to drive success.
With a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and multiple certifications, including Certified Green Belt (CSSGB), Product Manager (POPM), and SCRUM Master (CSM), Nicole’s expertise and leadership have been instrumental in the success of ViewPoint Engineering.
Dan Ross
VP of Land Development
Dan is the Vice President of Land Development for ViewPoint. He oversees all land operations efforts for the company, including land acquisition, 3rd party partnerships, and maintaining relationships. Dan also spearheads the business development relationships with municipalities.
Dan holds a B.S. in Geographical Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a certified professional notary.
He was a lead land manager at ExxonMobil, managing land acquisitions, permitting, and relationships with landowners and government agencies. He obtained permits for the 200-mile-long Big Eddy Pipeline project which included multiple permits from the BNSF railroad.
Dan is passionate about making positive changes in communities through education and connectivity. We can all take pride in it, mainly when we are at the forefront of trailblazing change to improve our communities.
He plays a crucial role in the fascinating Lone Star 2030 Project, which aims to establish ten magnificent master communities throughout Texas.
Dan believes in the power of perseverance, as Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Eric Beals
Director of Horizontal Design Services
Eric possesses over a decade of distinguished experience in planning, designing, and proficiently managing civil engineering projects, spanning both the public and private sectors across the states of Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona. He proudly holds a Civil Engineering degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona.
His professional career began in the construction industry where he worked on large diameter utility transmission lines as a field engineer before becoming a consultant. This exposure equipped him with a comprehensive perspective and contributed to value engineering in the design process, resulting in substantial cost and time efficiencies for ViewPoint Engineering’s clients.
Eric’s career encompasses a diverse portfolio including commercial development, municipal, K-12, higher education, multifamily, single-family, and public works. His unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous improvement makes him an invaluable asset to the ViewPoint Engineering team.
Will Buzzelli
Director of Horizontal Design Services
Will Buzzelli, a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team at Viewpoint Engineering. His educational journey unfolded in San Antonio, TX where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Upon completing his education, Will embarked on his professional career at a prominent local engineering firm, where he honed his skills and knowledge over four years. His dedication and commitment to his work soon led them to Austin, TX, where he continued to make significant contributions to the engineering field.
Will’s transition to Viewpoint Engineering marked an exciting new chapter in his career. In his role at Viewpoint, Will will plays a pivotal role in facilitating the acquisition of new projects and skillfully navigating them through the complex permitting stages. Beyond project acquisition, Will is committed to nurturing and developing the talents of younger engineers, guiding them on their journey to becoming adept project managers and leaders within the organization.
Mark Lind
Director of Vertical Design Services
Mark has an undergraduate dual degree in architecture from the
University of Texas and a Master’s of Science degree from Arizona
State focused on energy-efficient and climate-responsive building
design.
His professional career has included everything from the design of
award-winning custom homes, to apartments, museums, medical
facilities, retail/commercial spaces, urban infill projects, and the design
of New Urbanist communities.
Many of Mark’s projects have been showcased on local AIA and Cool
House homes tours, published in national trade magazines, and
featured in books on contemporary architecture.
Although a native Austinite, Mark has lived and worked in areas
as diverse in culture and climate as Phoenix, San Francisco, and
Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mark is passionate about building sustainable, energy-efficient,
biophilic projects designed to respond to the demands of their local
climate and topography, and he is equally passionate about designing
walkable, mixed use communities that are integrated within a system of
well-designed exterior spaces.
Judith McCabe
Head of People
Judith is ViewPoint Engineering’s Head of People. Judith’s focus areas and core functions of the HR department include building and implementing our company culture, benefits, compensation management, payroll administration, recruitment and staffing, employee development, employee relations, record keeping and compliance.
Judith has a proven track record of helping companies scale in the most important asset, people. Prior to her success in HR and recruitment, she was a Senior Property Manager for over 16 years (overseeing up to 555 units), and happens to be a real estate investing enthusiast.
Judith was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and recently relocated and resides in Austin, TX. She holds a BA in Business with an emphasis in Management from the University of Phoenix.
Understanding the value of giving back, Judith donates generously to a wide variety of charitable organizations, and is proactive in raising thousands of dollars for non profit
organizations dear to her heart, specifically Autism Speaks and the American Lung Association. In addition, Judith is passionate about helping others and volunteers her time coaching and mentoring people to achieve financial success and/or to reach their goals and fullest potential.
Jill Manlove
Sr. Operations Manager
Jill is our Senior Operations Manager at Red Oak Development Group. With over ten years of experience in client relations, administration, and operations, Jill is an integral part of our team. As the Senior Operations Manager, she’s responsible for monitoring the progress of multiple projects and establishing and maintaining company-wide systems and processes, ensuring that the company runs smoothly and efficiently.
Jill is a graduate of Colorado State University with a BS in Human Services, and she brings a unique perspective to our team. She is passionate about improving company culture and finding innovative ways to increase productivity and efficiency. Her excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with all team members make her an invaluable asset to our company.
Marc Toth
Design Manager
Marc has always been, passionate about protecting the environment, the bulk of my 25+ year career has been spent helping clients achieve their goals while also meeting the environmental regulations.
With a foundation in engineering started at Penn State University, my career began as a Survey Crewmen and technician. The years that followed were spent rising through the ranks developing to a Senior Civil CAD Designer. I obtained an Associate Degree in Network Administration from Lansdale School of Business in 2004 and moved into CAD Management / Network Administration and continued to hone my design skills. In 2016, I obtained a Project Management Certificate from Penn State University.
Based out of southeastern Pennsylvania, my various roles have allowed me to work on projects in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial markets covering PA, NJ, NY, and WV. This broad base of knowledge allows me to draw from each sector to provide innovative solutions.
Currently working on large scale, 500+ acre, community projects, I am eager to take my experience, to develop a place I would be proud for my grandkids to live in.
